Music

Burlington Sound of Music Festival celebrates 35 years to July 15 with its concerts on the downtown water Festival Headliners include Ashley McIsaac, Carol Welsman, Chilliwack, Colin James, Gord Downie and The Sadies, Kim Mitchell, The Stampeders, Trooper and more. Events include a weekend Streetfest of music, dancing and street performances; Saturday Beach Party with surf music, licensed patios and Polynesian dancers; and a Saturday Grande Parade. Concerts In The Park, a summer staple in Burlington featuring free concerts in Central Park, Sunday and Wednesday evenings (7-9 p.m.) to Aug. 17.
